The Motherhood Session Process
Booking & Planning
I recommend booking at least 4-6 weeks in advance to ensure availability and to allow plenty of time for planning. After confirming your date, we’ll work together to plan every detail—location, styling, and any special requests you have. I’ll provide you with a session guide, including outfit recommendations and tips to help you prepare and feel confident for your session.
The Session
This session is all about connection—whether it’s a loving gaze, a sweet cuddle, or a burst of laughter, we’ll capture the essence of your bond. There’s no rush, no pressure to "perform," just the opportunity to be in the moment with your children, soaking in the love and beauty of the time you have together. I’ll guide you through gentle prompts and natural interactions that make you feel comfortable, ensuring we create portraits that reflect the authentic, timeless love between you and your family.
Image Selection
Within 5-10 days after your session, you’ll receive an online gallery to view your proofing images. This is your opportunity to select your favorite portraits and relive the beautiful moments we captured. During this time, you’ll also have the option to order additional digital files and printed products. Once you've submitted your image selections, I will begin the process of hand-editing each chosen image to perfection, ensuring they are polished and timeless.
Final Delivery
Your fully edited images will be ready in about 5-10 days and uploaded to your online gallery for instant download. Prints and heirloom albums are then sent to the lab for printing.

Your session is more than just a photo shoot—it's an experience designed to capture your most meaningful moments. From the initial consultation to the final product, I’ll guide you every step of the way.
The session fee includes my time, expertise, and access to a curated selection of props and styling options. Each session includes 15 of your favorite images as digital files.
After your session, you’ll receive a private online proofing gallery, where you can select your 15 favorite images. These will be professionally hand-edited and retouched for you to download.
For those looking to preserve their memories even further, Custom Prints, Albums, and Digital Image upgrades are available.

This session is all about Mommy's and their amazing bonds with their children! Children of all ages are welcome. If you would like your partner included we would plan on booking a family session that allows more time for added posing.
Motherhood sessions can take place in outdoor locations, where we embrace natural beauty, or in the comfort of your home or my studio, for a cozy and intimate feel. We’ll discuss the best setting to match your vision.
Motherhood sessions typically last 45 minutes allowing plenty of time for snuggles, giggles and smiles without being too lengthy for little ones. We take our time to make sure you feel relaxed and comfortable while capturing the perfect moments.
I offer a client closet with a selection of beautiful dresses for moms and outfits for little ones. If you prefer to wear something of your own, I’ll provide a styling guide with color palettes and recommendations to help you choose the perfect look.
Don’t worry at all! I create a relaxed and stress-free environment where children can be themselves. I’ll gently guide interactions to capture authentic, heartfelt moments—no stiff posing required.
Yes, 15 Digital Images, chosen by you, are included in all Maternity Sessions! Additional digital images and printed items can be purchased after viewing your proofing gallery if desired. Digital Images are delivered via the online gallery and instant download.
Absolutely! You’ll have the option to order professional-quality prints, albums, and other keepsakes directly from your online gallery, ensuring your memories are beautifully preserved.
