Our Baby & Toddler photography sessions are designed to document the milestones of your baby’s first year. From sweet smiles to curious expressions, we work with you to capture the essence of your little one’s growing personality in an environment where they feel at ease and comfortable.
The Milestone Session Process
Booking & Planning
Milestone sessions are typically scheduled at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months, but you can book at any stage that feels special to you. If you have a specific timeframe in mind, booking 4-6 weeks in advance ensures availability. Once you book, we’ll go over your vision for the session, including wardrobe options, color themes, and any special props you'd like to incorporate. You’ll also have access to my client closet with adorable outfits for your little one.
The Session
Milestone sessions are fun, relaxed, and completely baby-led. I focus on capturing natural expressions, sweet details, and tiny milestones—whether it’s chubby little fingers grasping a toy or the joy of sitting up for the first time.
Image Selection
Within 5-10 days after your session, you’ll receive an online gallery to view your proofing images. This is your opportunity to select your favorite portraits and relive the beautiful moments we captured. During this time, you’ll also have the option to order additional digital files and printed products. Once you've submitted your image selections, I will begin the process of hand-editing each chosen image to perfection, ensuring they are polished and timeless.
Final Delivery
Your fully edited images will be ready in about 5-10 days and uploaded to your online gallery for instant download. Prints and heirloom albums are then sent to the lab for printing.

Your session is more than just a photo shoot—it's an experience designed to capture your most meaningful moments. From the initial consultation to the final product, I’ll guide you every step of the way.
The session fee includes my time, expertise, and access to a curated selection of props and styling options. Sessions may take place in our lovely studio located in Boise, Outdoors, or in your own home. Each session includes 15 of your favorite images.
After your session, you’ll receive a private online proofing gallery, where you can select your 15 favorite images. These will be professionally hand-edited and retouched for you to download.
For those looking to preserve their memories even further, Custom Prints, Albums, and Digital Image upgrades are available.

I offer styling guidance and have a selection of adorable outfits in my client closet. You’re welcome to bring your own outfits, too, especially if you want something personalized. Soft, simple clothing in neutral tones or pastel colors work well.
Sessions can take place in our lovely studio located in Boise, Idaho, or in your home. Outdoor sessions are available in the summer.
Milestone sessions are relaxed and baby-led, typically lasting 30-45 minutes depending on your baby’s mood and pace. There’s no rush—we take the time to capture the best moments.
I provide simple and timeless props and backdrops for the session but feel free to bring any special items that are meaningful to you and your baby.
Milestone sessions are designed for babies and children only. If interested in family photos, a family session with a focus on your childs milestone is recommened.
To ensure a smooth session, it’s helpful to schedule the session during your baby’s happiest time of day—ideally after a nap and a feeding. Bring a few of their favorite toys or comfort items to help them feel relaxed and at ease.
Yes, 15 Digital Images, chosen by you, are included in all Milestone Sessions! Additional digital images and printed items can be purchased after viewing your proofing gallery if desired. Digital Images are delivered via the online gallery and instant download.
Absolutely! You’ll have the option to order professional-quality prints, albums, and other keepsakes directly from your online gallery, ensuring your memories are beautifully preserved.
